Tenerife’s capital city to introduce 2 night bus lines

As of next week, there will be two new night bus lines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and in addition, the schedule of the eight most popular bus lines in the city will be expanded.

It was announced today that as of next week there will be two new night bus lines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as an extension of the timetable of the eight bus lines which are most popular on urban public transport.


One of the new night-time lines, the 975, will connect the Interchange Station with the La Gallega neighbourhood at 23.30, 01.30 and 3.05, while return journeys will be made at 0.15, 2.15 and 3.50, and these buses will pass through Taco, Tíncer, Los Majuelos and El Sobradillo.

The other new line, the 970, will leave the Interchange Station at 23.30, 0.30, 1.30, 3 and 4.15 to take passengers to Valleseco, María Jiménez and San Andrés, from where the buses will depart at 23.55, 0.55, 1.55, 3.25 and 4.40.

As for the extension of the eight bus routes with the highest demand, this will affect the 905, on which the night timetable will be extended to 0.30 on weekdays and to 1.10 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, while on the 904, from Weyler to Cuesta Piedra, the last departure time will be 23.20 on weekdays and 23.30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The line between the Interchange Station, Santa Cruz, Acorán, Costa Negra and Boca Cangrejo will have its first departure at 6.20 a.m. and its last departure at 9.30 p.m., and the 934, which runs between the Interchange Station, Taco and Santa María del Mar, will extend its timetable until 1.15 a.m.

The 936, with the route of the Interchange Station, Santa Cruz, Santa María del Mar, Taco, the Interchange Station, will extend its timetable until 0.45 am, and the 906 will extend its timetable until 1 am, while the 919 will extend its timetable until 9.45 pm on weekdays and until 9.30 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
