Gran Canarian “Moda Cálida” Brand promoted at Copenhagen Fashion Week

The strategy is to carry out this type of action aimed at generating an income in the sector, and with short and long-term objectives so that Gran Canarian firms can enter the national and international market.

The Gran Canaria Swim Week, a highly successful event by Moda Cálida, will be promoted in Denmark on the occasion of the Copenhagen Fashion Week, with the aim of making the leap to the catwalk to be held next August with designers and designers from the renowned Gran Canarian fashion programme.

As explained by the Gran Canaria Insular Council, this is the second stage of the internationalisation strategy that the Council has organised with the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce, and will include a microsite and a specific promotion in the Danish capital, as explained at a press conference.

The Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida will be present in Copenhagen on the 30th of January with a promotional video that will be shown in the hall of the main hotel of the event, where buyers, international and Danish press are staying, and which will be repeated before and after all the streaming broadcasts of the catwalk.

In addition, a digital campaign will be launched before, during and after Copenhagen Fashion Week, in the event’s newsletter and on the official website.

This is the first time in Denmark as part of this internationalisation plan, which goes beyond promotion to position itself as “an important platform to present swimwear collections and see how Gran Canaria can be at the fair in August”.

The Moda Cálida catwalk has also launched a “microsite” with the strategy, technology, organisation and focus on people to serve as a real tool for this action at the swimwear fashion week in Copenhagen.
