This Thursday there will be morning cloudy intervals, certain drizzle in the midlands during the first half of the day and light frost on the central peaks of Tenerife, according to the AEMET, the Spanish Meteorological Service for the Canaries.
At sea there will be northeast 4 or 5, 5 or 6 in the northwest and southeast, increasing at the end of the day to 6 or 7 in the northwest and southeast and 5 or 6 in the rest. Storm waves or heavy tides, increasing to heavy waves or rough tides. North waves of 1 to 2 metres. On west coast, variable 1 to 3 and rough or light storm surges.

GRAN CANARIA In the north, cloudy intervals with a low probability of scattered light showers in the midlands during the first half of the day. In the rest of the areas, predominantly partly cloudy skies with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures with little change. Moderate to strong north-easterly wind, with gusts likely to exceed 70 – 75 km/h on summits and south-eastern and north-western slopes, easing slightly at the end of the day. MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES EXPECTED: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 17-20°C.
TENERIFE Intervals of high clouds in general and low clouds in the northeast, where scattered light showers are not ruled out during the first half of the day. Temperatures with little change, with light frosts expected in central peaks. Wind from the northeast, more intense on the southeastern slope, extreme northwest and west façade of the metropolitan area, where gusts exceeding 70-75 km/h will be likely, especially during the central hours. LA GOMERA In the north, cloudy intervals with a low probability of scattered light showers in the midlands during the first half of the day. In the rest of the areas, predominantly partly cloudy skies with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures with little change. Wind from the north-east, more intense on the north-western slope with occasional very strong gusts. MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES FORECAST: San Sebastián de La Gomera 17-21°C.
LA PALMA In the north and east, cloudy intervals with a low probability of scattered light showers in the midlands during the first half of the day. Elsewhere, partly cloudy skies with intervals of high clouds. Temperatures with little change. Moderate to strong northeasterly to easterly winds.
