Five cruise ships filled Santa Cruz de Tenerife with tourists this Friday. La Belle des Oceans, AIDAbella, Azura, Mein Schiff 4 and Borealis coincided in the port, four of them berthing at Muelle Sur and the fifth at the Tenerife Cruise Terminal. The visit of these ships involved the movement of nearly 8,000 passengers, a figure already recorded on 9 January. Tourists were able to choose between touring the streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife or going on excursions around the island.
As for its itineraries, La Belle des Oceans arrived from Valle Gran Rey and will set sail tomorrow evening at 19.00 for La Palma. The AIDAbella arrived early yesterday morning from Portsmouth, UK, and will leave the capital for Antigua. The Azura, from Fuerteventura, will remain in port for two days, and today, at 22.00 hours, will leave for Funchal, in Portugal.
The Mein Schiff 4 is the ship with the longest length of those which berthed yesterday, with 293 metres, and arrived from Arrecife to set sail for San Sebastián de la Gomera.
It should be noted that for the month of February there are some 40 stopovers planned in the capital’s port.
