La Palma to host the fifth edition of the Agrocanarias Fair in March

The fifth edition of the Agrocanarias Fair takes place from 2 to 5 March in La Palma

The Plaza de España, in Los Llanos de Aridane (La Palma), will host the fifth edition of the Agrocanarias Fair from 3 to 5 March, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Government of the Canary Islands.

This is a pioneering event where producers can promote and sell their products directly to the public and establish professional contacts.

They can hire perfectly equipped business or gastronomic stands at very low prices, or sell their products, free of charge, at the market managed by the Canary Islands Rural Environment Management (GMR).

The exhibition, organised by the public company GMR itself and with the participation of the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-Food Quality (ICCA), as well as with the collaboration of the Town Council of Los Llanos de Aridane, has opened the registration period for companies and professionals from the primary and agri-food sector until 16 February.

As in each of the previous editions, visitors will be able to enjoy tastings of the products and gastronomy of the islands.

Meanwhile, there will be live music, a children’s area, product presentations and training sessions, including tastings and workshops on Canary Island products. There will also be a market where the products awarded in the Agrocanarias Awards will be on sale, along with other agri-food products made in the archipelago.

With free admission and musical performances every day, the Agrocanarias Fair is an event that combines gastronomy and sustainability with activities for the whole family to enjoy.
