The calendar of commercial campaigns on the island of La Gomera begins this Monday on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and will run until February 14, with the aim of encouraging local consumption and proximity in several days, inviting the population to enjoy a special day of shopping for this special date.
The campaign means that people who shop at local businesses will be able to receive and exchange direct gifts and surprise experiences while stocks last. In order to take part, it will be a requirement to make a purchase of 50 euros or more in the island’s shops taking part in the campaign. The prizes will be awarded on Wednesday 15th February, from 17.00 to 19.00 hours, simultaneously at the premises of the Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of La Gomera and at the Hall of Culture of the municipality of Valle Gran Rey.
At the same time, on Friday 10th February, with the aim of promoting and making the activity of the shops more visible, live radio interviews will take place and radio spots will be broadcast to show the quality of the products and services offered by the island’s establishments.
On the same day, there will be activities to stimulate shopping in the streets of the San Sebastián Open Commercial Zone, with a parade of children’s characters, accompanied by a street music and DJ performances.
The 2023 calendar of campaigns to stimulate the commercial sector is a programme made up of a dozen promotional activities that the Island Institution will carry out this year, in collaboration with Cajasiete, the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Association of Entrepreneurs and Traders of La Gomera, with the aim of encouraging shopping in local shops, while rewarding customers who choose the island’s establishments for this purpose.
