MediaMarkt is looking for 40 workers for the new outlet due to open in Lanzarote

Until now, MediaMarkt has held shopping facilities only in Tenerife and Gran Canaria

MediaMarkt, the distribution company of consumer electronics and associated services, is looking for 40 professionals to work in its new retail shop in Lanzarote, which will be located in Calle Tenderete in Arrecife and is expected to open in the first half of 2023.


For the recruitment of these 40 people, the company has opened the selection process for people “passionate about technology, who stand out for their dynamism, experience in the job, their ability to work as part of a team, initiative, enthusiasm and excellent” customer service skills.

The selection process will be completed with interviews and group dynamics in mid-March. Among the 40 vacancies for the new shop are retail, cashier, warehouse and service staff positions. All interested parties can access the selection process via the MM Careers – Let’s Go! job portal and the Canary Islands website.

The manager of MediaMarkt Lanzarote, John Montag, has indicated that the “fundamental pillar” of the company are the people, since in them “lies the success of the company”, hence in MediaMarkt Lanzarote want to “have professionals with a true vocation for customer service, who enjoy their day to day bringing the latest technology to all residents of the area, and thus become their trusted ally.

MediaMarkt Lanzarote will have an area of 1,500 square metres and will have a wide range of consumer electronics and technology, as well as a wide range of services and solutions.
