Interurban Transport of Tenerife (TITSA), a company owned by the Island Council of Tenerife, will reinforce a total of 22 lines for the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Day Carnival to be held this Saturday, 25 February.
The first vice-president of the Council, island councillor for Mobility and president of Titsa, Enrique Arriaga, stressed that during the first days of the festival, the bus has become the favourite means of transport for all those who have wanted to enjoy the Carnival. “The services have been running normally and there have been no major incidents of any kind,” he said.
This Saturday, lines 014, 015, 102, 112, 120, 122, 128, 906, 908, 934, 936 and 232 will be running their normal working day timetables with reinforcements.
Likewise, lines 104, 108, 110, 111, 231, 233, 363, 418, 467 and 473 will add journeys to their normal operation. Line 104, which will be reinforced during Carnival, will not pass through the La Laguna interchange in either direction.
Reinforcements for the last night of the Carnival
Lines 014 and 015, which connect Santa Cruz de Tenerife with La Laguna, will have special services throughout the night.
In addition, lines 102 and 104 (Santa Cruz- Tacoronte – La Orotava), 10, 110, 112, 111 and 711 (Santa Cruz-Costa Adeje), 112 (Los Cristianos-Santa Cruz), 108 (Los Realejos-Santa Cruz link) will be considerably reinforced, 014 and 015 (Santa Cruz- La Laguna), 120 and 128 (Santa Cruz-Güimar), 122 Santa Cruz – Candelaria 050 (La Laguna-Punta del Hidalgo), as well as urban lines 232, 908, 933, 934, 939, 970, 972 and 975.
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife interchange will be open 24 hours a day on 24 and 25 February, while the La Laguna interchange will be open all night, but only until 02:00 on Friday 24 February.
