On the 24th of March, the mega cruise ship “MSC Seaview” will make its first stop in the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, after departing from Maceio (Brazil). This stunning ship has drawn various reactions with its striking exterior appearance and will arrive with its maximum capacity of 5,429 passengers and 1,413 crew members.
The Maltese-flagged “MSC Seaview” was built at the Monfalcone shipyard and began operations in June 2018 after a christening ceremony in Genoa presided over by Italian actress Sofia Loren.
Experts say she is an innovative ship in her sector, with a registered 153,516 gross tons, 323 metres in length and 44 metres in beam. Her Wärtsila propulsion plant has a power output of 62,400 kW distributed over two shafts, and her IMO code is 9745378.
