Air Nostrum will triple its operations with the Canary Islands over Easter week

Canary Islands flights: Gran Canaria will be connected to Santiago de Compostela and Valencia on 1, 5 and 8 April, while León will have two days of operation: 1 and 8. Tenerife will have flights to Valencia on 1, 5 and 8 and to Santiago de Compostela and Valladolid on 1 and 8.

Air Nostrum, Iberia’s franchise airline for regional flights, has scheduled a record Easter Week. From Friday 31 March to Monday 10 April, the company is offering passengers 10% more seats than in 2022 and 25% more seats than in 2019. The improvement of the offer is more evident in the country’s tourist destinations to promote connectivity on these special dates.


In the Canary Islands, this year the offer has tripled as compared to last year. Gran Canaria will be connected to Santiago de Compostela and Valencia on 1, 5 and 8 April, while León will have two days of operations: 1 and 8. Tenerife will have flights to Valencia on 1, 5 and 8 and to Santiago de Compostela and Valladolid on 1 and 8.

In the Balearic Islands, there is also a significant increase in flights for the Easter holidays. On 2, 5 and 10 April there will be a special route with return flights between Badajoz and Mallorca. In addition, coinciding with Easter, the summer schedule includes a new connection to Vigo from Mallorca on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. In addition to the existing service at Son Sant Joan, the routes to León (31st March and 3rd, 7th and 10th April) and Almería (1st, 5th and 8th April) have been extended.

Melilla will also be greatly benefited by the increase in operations at Easter, reaching record figures. The 22,320 seats offered in these eleven days are 11.5% higher than those offered in 2022. Seville seats increased by 33%, 25% for Almería, 17% for Granada and Madrid and 4% for Málaga. Barcelona maintains the same offer as in 2022.

In the peninsular operation, Valencia and Vigo will be connected on 31 March and 6, 7 and 9 April. From Manises there will be a 23% increase in the number of seats available with Malaga and a 2.5-fold increase on the route to Bilbao. The connection from Barcelona will be reinforced on 6 April with a route to Badajoz and operations with León will be increased by 33% with flights on nine of the eleven days of Easter Week.
