The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has announced a drop in temperatures for Monday in the Canary Islands, which could be significant in the peaks.
Although thermometers will reach significantly high levels in several parts of the archipelago, as in inland areas and in the west of Gran Canaria they will reach 30 degrees.
In principle, there will be a slight calima at altitude, which will tend to subside during the course of the day, according to the AEMET forecast.
The skies will remain lightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds. In coastal areas of the northern slopes, there will be morning intervals of low cloud.
The wind will blow from the northeast, being more intense on the southeast and northwest slopes, with intervals of strong winds in the late hours on the easternmost islands. Predominantly breezy on the south-western coasts of the most mountainous islands.
