The first place is occupied by the Spanish coast, from the Costa Brava to Cadiz, Spaniards want beach, sun and moderate weather this Easter and are opting to book a getaway to the classic Spanish coastal destinations.
In addition, both the Balearic and Canary Islands are also among the most popular destinations for Easter. Their proximity, good air connectivity and a complete tourist offer that combines relaxation, gastronomy and culture make them an appealing destination, according to W2M.
On a European level, the most popular destinations in terms of demand are the main capitals of the continent: Paris (France), Rome (Italy) and London (UK).
Beyond Spain and Europe, for those who can extend their holidays and enjoy more than a week’s holiday, the preferred locations are the Caribbean, Egypt and Dubai. Asia, with a particular focus on Japan, and North America are also seeing strong demand.
