GoXO: the food truck of the best chef in the world already in Tenerife

Both residents and travellers in Tenerife will be able to enjoy a menu that includes some of GoXO's most successful street food dishes, from hamburgers to fries and desserts.

After the success obtained in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a city that GoXO visited during its Carnival, Dabiz Muñoz’s food truck will visit Tenerife this month. Both residents and travellers in Tenerife will be able to enjoy a menu that includes some of GoXO’s most successful street food dishes, from hamburgers to potatoes and desserts. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, GoXO caused a sensation, with a limited menu that fascinated the people of Gran Canaria.

As for Tenerife, GoXO will have its grand opening on Monday 17 April, at 13.00 hours, on the Plaza de El Corte Inglés in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The mobile restaurant offers the possibility to enjoy innovative dishes such as the Yakisoba Burger. The restaurant’s official account allows followers to keep up to date with the menus and novelties offered by the food truck.

In Gran Canaria, diners had the opportunity to sample seven different dishes from Dabiz Muñoz’s menu, including three main course options, a side dish and three desserts. If you’re looking for something substantial, the first option is the Yakisoba Burger, a double matured beef burger with Gouda cheese and creamy Yakisoba noodles with world peppers, miso and black truffle perigourdine sauce. The price of this dish is €15.50.

As far as desserts are concerned, GoXO offered in Gran Canaria from the 70% Belgian dark chocolate fluid sponge cake, filled with biscuit cream soaked in caramel milk with a touch of whipped cream and vanilla-yuzu, for 10 euros, as well as the XO Waffle with yoghurt and coconut cream and a salted caramel sauce and pineapple crispy for nine euros.

Madrid-born Dabid Muñoz was chosen as the “best chef in the world” last September, having won first place for the second year in a row in the Top 100 of ‘The Best Chef Awards 2022’.

The creator of DiverXO retained his title in this ranking, which was drawn up with the votes of 350 chefs and professionals from the sector. In addition to this title, the Madrid-born chef won two other awards, the best restaurant in Madrid and the best chef voted by professionals.

In addition to Muñoz, the list of The Best Chef Awards also includes Joan Roca (El Celler de Can Roca) in third place, Andoni Luis Aduriz, in fifth place (Mugaritz) and the trio formed by Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas (Disfrutar) in seventh place among the top 10.
