HiperDino has acquired ten new vehicles for the transport of goods, for which it has earmarked 1.2 million euros. These are Mercedes-Benz isothermal vehicles.
HiperDino’s Logistics Director, José Manuel Poblador, and the head of the Mercedes-Benz Louzao base, Honorio Sánchez, formalised the delivery at the Group’s headquarters in the Arinaga Industrial Estate in Gran Canaria.
José Manuel Poblador affirms that “Mercedes – Benz Louzao has made an important commitment to work with HiperDino, offering us top-of-the-range trucks at very competitive prices. We would also like to highlight the maintenance contract offered by the brand, which guarantees preventive maintenance of the vehicles and immediate technical assistance if required”.
For his part, Honorio Sánchez assures us that “the Louzao Group and Mercedes Benz España have made an enormous effort to collaborate and be present in the logistics of such an important group for the Canary Islands as HiperDino. Furthermore, we are convinced that our product meets 100% of the customer’s needs”.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The vehicles purchased belong to the Atego and Actros models. They stand out for their versatility, capable of adapting to the demands of traffic in urban areas and the ergonomic design of the cab to facilitate the driver’s work.
In addition, they offer more power with optimised fuel consumption. The reinforced bodywork and the double cold evaporator allow goods to be transported at different temperatures, whether ambient, refrigerated or frozen. They also have Activ Brake Assist5 braking assistance systems to prevent rear-end accidents, with lane-following alert.
As they are state-of-the-art vehicles, they also have Euro VI-E technology, the lowest CO2 emission category for this brand of combustion vehicles.
