Likewise, the alert for adverse coastal phenomena in the southeast of Tenerife remains in force. In general, northeasterly winds of force 6 or 7 are expected and strong swell increasing to heavy in more westerly waters. Waves of 1 to 2 metres are likely with swell from the north or northwest.

WEATHER IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

LANZAROTE: Cloudy or clear skies are expected in Lanzarote, with morning intervals in the north and west. Temperatures will remain stable, while the wind from the northeast will be strong, but will tend to moderate in the northwest in the afternoon. There is a chance of very strong gusts, especially in inland areas and on the eastern slopes. A minimum temperature of 18°C and a maximum temperature of 27°C is expected in Arrecife.

FUERTEVENTURA: Cloudy or clear skies are expected, with morning intervals. Minimum temperatures will remain stable, while maximum temperatures will increase slightly inland and on the eastern slope. The northeast wind will be moderate with strong intervals. Locally very strong gusts are unlikely in inland areas and in Jandía, especially in the late hours. A minimum temperature of 19°C and a maximum temperature of 26°C is expected in Puerto del Rosario.

GRAN CANARIA: Cloudy intervals are expected in the north with a predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours. In the rest of the island, skies are expected to be partly cloudy to clear with some morning intervals in the east. Temperatures will remain stable, although there will be slight increases in maximum temperatures in inland areas.

The north-easterly wind will be moderate to strong, with occasional very strong gusts likely on the south-eastern and north-western slopes, as well as on exposed summits and high areas facing south. Gusts will be more frequent and intense during the second half of the day. There will also be breezes on south-west coasts. A minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum temperature of 25°C is expected in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

TENERIFE: Cloudy intervals are expected in the north with a predominance of cloudy skies in the northeast in the early and late hours. In the rest of the island, skies are expected to be partly cloudy to clear with some morning intervals in the south. Temperatures will remain stable or increase slightly, especially maximum temperatures in inland areas and on the southeastern slope.

The north-easterly wind will be moderate to strong, with occasional very strong gusts likely on the eastern slope and in the extreme northwest, as well as on the southern slope of the metropolitan area and on mountain peaks in the early hours. Gusts will be more frequent and intense during the second half of the day. There will also be breezes on the west coast. A minimum temperature of 21°C and a maximum temperature of 27°C is expected in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

LA GOMERA: Cloudy intervals are expected in the north with a predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours. In the rest of the island, cloudy to clear skies are expected. Temperatures will remain stable and the northeasterly wind will be moderate to strong, with very strong gusts likely on the eastern and northwestern slopes, as well as on exposed summits and in the southern midlands. Gusts will be more frequent and intense during the night. There will also be breezes on the southwest coasts. A minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum temperature of 26°C is expected in San Sebastián de la Gomera.

LA PALMA: Cloudy intervals are expected in the north and east with a predominance of cloudy skies in the early hours. In the rest of the island, cloudy to clear skies are expected. Temperatures will remain stable and the northeasterly wind will be moderate to strong, with locally very strong gusts likely in the El Paso area and on the summits. Gusts will be more frequent and intense in the late hours, when occasionally very strong gusts are not ruled out on the northwest and southeast slopes. Breezes will prevail on the west coasts. A minimum temperature of 21°C and a maximum temperature of 25°C is expected in Santa Cruz de la Palma.

EL HIERRO: Cloudy intervals are expected in the north with a predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours. In the rest of the island, cloudy to clear skies are expected. Temperatures will remain stable and the northeasterly wind will be moderate to strong, with occasional very strong gusts likely on the southeastern and western slopes, as well as on the peaks and midlands of the southwest. Gusts will be more frequent and intense during the night. Breezes will also prevail on the southwest coasts. A minimum temperature of 14°C and a maximum temperature of 19°C is expected in Valverde.
