The Island Council of Tenerife will allocate almost two million euros to promote the implementation of cultural projects by companies, associations and local councils on the island. The funding is included within the items corresponding to the lines of subsidies granted by the Island Corporation, through the area of Culture. The information has been published today, Friday 12th May, in the Official Bulletin of the Province.
The call aimed at companies has an allocation of 700,000 euros and is intended for activities that take place between 1 July this year and 30 June 2024. Applications are divided into four categories depending on the budget of the proposal, one of which is reserved for festivals or projects of special relevance with a cost of more than 150,000 euros.
The line of aid offered by the Island Council for associations, foundations and non-governmental organisations has 674,000 euros available this year. Applicants may submit up to a maximum of three applications and will be eligible for four categories, including one for initiatives costing more than 100,000 euros. The actions must be held between 1 July this year and 30 June 2024.
The Island Council has also given the go-ahead to the conditions for the call for applications for local councils and their public companies that promote the development of cultural projects that take place between 1 January and 31 December 2023. This line of subsidies has a budget of 580,000 euros.
