Jet2.com to launch additional flights to the Canary Islands

Jet2.com opens base in Liverpool and will operate flights to the Canary Islands: Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

Jet2.com has announced that it will have a new base, its eleventh, at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (UK) from 28 March 2024, from where it will fly to eight Spanish destinations, including the Canary Islands.


Specifically, the airline will connect Liverpool with Alicante, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, eight of the total of 20 destinations it will fly to from the English city.

In these destinations, Jet2.com’s incoming seat offer totals 148,000 seats. Almost 70,000 of these seats will be destined for the Canary Islands, followed by the Balearic Islands with more than 56,000 and Alicante with more than 22,000.

Weekly frequencies will range from seven flights a week to Mallorca and two to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Menorca.
