The President of the Government of Spain and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, will visit the Canary Islands during the pre-campaign with two events on the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria on 24 and 25 June, respectively, according to the PSOE.
On Saturday 24, he will hold a rally at the Santiago Yanes wrestling ground in Puerto de la Cruz at 10.30 am, and the following day, in Gran Canaria, he will do the same at the same time in the Sala Club of the Gran Canaria Arena.
For next week, Sánchez has scheduled an intense media schedule that will begin on Monday on ‘Más de uno’, Carlos Alsina’s programme on Onda Cero, as announced by the channel itself in a message on Twitter, picked up by Europa Press.
The following day, the PSOE candidate for the general elections will also appear on the programme ‘El Intermedio’ on ‘La Sexta’, to answer questions from El Gran Wyoming and Sandra Sabatés.
In addition to these two interviews, Sánchez is likely to appear on other television programmes in the coming days.
The PSOE leadership has been saying that it is planning to carry out an electoral campaign that will be significantly different to that of the regional and municipal elections of 28 May, in which Sánchez took centre stage with daily rallies and several national advertisements.
In this case, they expect to hold fewer rallies, with a total of a dozen rallies between the pre-campaign and the campaign, complemented by other types of actions with a greater impact, such as debates or interviews in the media.
