Naviera Armas will not operate this Sunday in Los Cristianos: what is there to know

Due to the powerful undertow, Naviera Armas' scheduled activities at the southern port of Tenerife will be redirected to the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Since the previous Friday, the port of Los Cristianos has been grappling with a substantial undertow. By this Sunday, the undertow is at its peak. With safety in mind, Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea has taken measures, redirecting the ferry Volcán de Taburiente to offer a direct route from San Sebastián de La Gomera to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Additionally, the catamaran Volcán de Tirajana will operate on the El Hierro route.

In an official statement, the company has outlined changes in departure points for San Sebastian de La Gomera and Valverde de El Hierro. These will now depart from the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Sunday, with adjusted schedules to minimize the impact on passengers during the extended August weekend.
