Canary Islands remain under the grip of exceedingly high temperatures

Aemet forecasts scorching temperatures for the Canary Islands, coupled with the persistence of elevated altitude haze.

The Canary Islands are poised for another hot day on Friday, with temperatures remaining relatively unchanged, possibly soaring to 34 degrees, particularly in the eastern province. Additionally, the western islands can expect high altitude haze, as forecasted by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Waves will be characterized by swell or light swell in western waters, swell or heavy swell in the Agaete channel, and rough or light swell in the eastern islands. Furthermore, southerly waves reaching 1 meter in height are expected.
