Varied activity schedule for La Laguna’s traditional Christ celebrations

Last Friday, the La Laguna City Council unveiled the official poster and programme for the 2023 Holy Christ Festivities. This year's edition promises to surpass last year's event count, packing a variety of activities into a span of just over two weeks, from 7th to 24th September.

The programme for 2023 will offer around 60 activities, including cinema, sport, music, humour, poetry, exhibitions and religious veneration of the sacred image.

The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, underlined the stature of the artists and groups that will enhance this festivity, such as Efecto Pasillo, Pedro Guerra, María del Monte and Los Sabandeños. Likewise, comedy will once again be well represented in the comedy nights, in which great talents from the Canary Islands such as Kike Pérez, Petite Lorena and Abubukaka will take part.
