Potential rainfall expected in the Canary Islands on Wednesday

According to the State Meteorological Agency, temperatures in the Canary Islands are expected to vary between 24 and 28ºC, with rainfall possible.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecasted the likelihood of sporadic rain showers for this Wednesday in the Canary Islands. The precipitation is expected to be generally light, occurring mainly during the early morning and late evening on the northern slopes of the more elevated islands, as well as in inland areas in the afternoon.


For the forecast on 13 September 2023, the agency anticipates periods of cloudiness, with more overcast conditions expected in the inland regions of the larger islands during the afternoon. There will also be a prevalence of high-level clouds, particularly from midday onwards.

Temperature-wise, little change is anticipated, although a slight decrease in the peak temperatures is expected. In both the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and in Las Palmas, temperatures are predicted to fluctuate between 24ºC and 28ºC.

As for the wind, moderate breezes coming from the northeast are expected, gaining some strength in the extreme northwest and on the southeastern slopes of the larger islands.
