Tenerife continues international outreach to encourage filming on the island

The Island Council's vice-president, Lope Afonso, stresses that "Tenerife has become a great reference in Spain for the sector".

The Tenerife Film Commission, representing the Island Council in collaboration with Tenerife Tourism, is actively participating in renowned international events with the primary goal of attracting film projects to be produced on the island. Moreover, the island aims to highlight the exceptional local companies within the audiovisual industry that possess expertise in various facets such as pre-production, filming, animation, post-production, equipment rental, production services, sound, laboratory work, VFX firms, animation studios, scene vehicle providers, and more.

Lope Afonso, Vice-President of the island and Councillor for Tourism, emphasized that “Tenerife has solidified its status as a significant hub for the audiovisual sector in Spain, evident from the number and economic impact of productions completed on the island this year. This success motivates us to further promote the sector by actively participating in various trade fairs and events.”
