From October 12 to 15, the Book Fair, regarded as Tenerife’s foremost literary event, will transform various squares in the heart of La Laguna with a program featuring over 200 activities.
The event will be hosted in key locations such as Plaza de La Concepción, Plaza del Adelantado, Plaza Doctor Olivera, and Plaza de la Catedral.
The 35th Regional Fair will showcase 35 exhibitors, including bookstores, publishers, and institutional displays. Additionally, there will be a diverse offering of music and performing arts to enrich the program.
The city will welcome numerous authors from across the Canary Islands, Spain, and Latin America, with notable figures like Juan Gómez Jurado, known for his novels translated into forty languages, and David Galán Redry, the 2019 ESPASAesPOESÍA Prize winner.
All activities will be free of charge until capacity is reached, and there will be a range of family-friendly events and activities.
10th La Laguna Crafts Fair
The La Laguna council has also announced the ‘X Muestra de Artesanía de La Laguna,’ set to take place around the church square of La Concepción from October 20 to 22.

The event will feature 38 marquees showcasing handmade crafts, complete with identifying signs and essential services like lighting, security surveillance, tables, chairs, and more.
Operating hours for this event will be from 11:00 to 20:30 on October 20 and 21, and from 11:00 to 17:00 on October 22, which marks the closing day of the fair.
