The much-anticipated relief from the persistent high temperatures in the Canary Islands has finally arrived. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) weather forecast for tomorrow, the overall conditions will include widespread high cloudiness, with occasional intervals of medium cloud cover over the islands with more significant relief during the latter part of the day. Additionally, there will be a presence of calima, though it is expected to gradually diminish in intensity during the afternoon.
The most notable change will be in temperatures, with a slight to moderate decrease, particularly in the daytime highs. In many areas of the islands, temperatures are expected to range between 30-32 degrees Celsius, while locally, in the southern slopes of Tenerife, they may still reach up to 34 degrees Celsius.
The prevailing wind conditions will be variable and generally light, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

In the province of Las Palmas, similar weather conditions are expected, characterized by widespread high cloudiness, with intermittent medium cloudiness in Gran Canaria, primarily during the latter half of the day. Calima will also be present but is anticipated to diminish as the day progresses.
Once again, temperatures will experience a slight to moderate decrease, particularly in the daytime highs. Across many parts of the islands, temperatures are projected to be in the range of 30-32 degrees Celsius, while locally, on the southern slopes of Gran Canaria, they may still reach as high as 34 degrees Celsius.
