The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecasted weather conditions for Monday in the Canary Islands as follows. Generally cloudy skies with weak or locally moderate rainfall, and a possibility of isolated storms in the vicinity of Lanzarote during the early morning hours. Temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable or decrease slightly. Moderate northwest winds will shift to northeast direction throughout the day.
Regarding the sea conditions, north and northwest winds of force 4 or 5 are expected, increasing to 5 or 6 at times, leading to strong swell that will gradually decrease. Variable winds of force 1 to 3 are expected in the south, southeast, and southwest, causing rough to swell conditions. There will be a northwesterly swell with waves ranging from 4 to 5 meters, locally reaching 5 to 6 meters in the north, gradually decreasing to 3 to 4 and 2 to 3 meters.
