Anticipated temperature decrease in the Canary Islands

The temperature in the Canary Islands is expected to vary from a maximum of 27 degrees to a minimum of 21 degrees.

The weather outlook for Thursday, November 2, anticipates generally light cloud cover throughout the Canary Islands, with the exception of the extreme north, which is expected to be cloudy with a low chance of some light rain during the early morning and early hours, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).


Temperatures will either remain steady or experience a slight decline, with thermometers ranging from a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius to a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius.

Winds will generally be light from the northeast, moderate in the extreme southeast and northwest, occasionally becoming strong from the morning onwards. Over the central peaks, winds will be moderate from the north.

In the Las Palmas province, in the northern part of Gran Canaria, skies will be partly cloudy in general, except for the northern slopes, which are expected to be cloudy with a low chance of light rain during the early morning and early hours of the day.

For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, there will be cloudy skies in the early morning and from dusk onwards, with cloudy intervals prevailing during the day. There is a low probability of light rain in the extreme northwest during the early morning and early hours of the day, as per the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Temperatures will see a slight decrease, with maximum temperatures in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria ranging from 25°C, and minimum temperatures reaching 22°C.

As for the wind, it will be moderate from the northeast with occasional strong intervals in the east and west extremes, and predominantly breezy conditions on the southwest coast.
