Adecco has announced the availability of 6,900 job opportunities on its platform ‘Adecco Here Now’, spanning various sectors including contact center, ‘last mile’ (delivery), hospitality, logistics, and retail, with a particular focus on the ‘Black Friday‘ and Christmas campaigns. This announcement was made in a press release on Thursday.
The company has assured that these job openings will be regularly updated and expanded in the upcoming weeks, throughout the Christmas season. Adecco has emphasized that the key positions to be filled include telephone sales agents, warehouse workers, waitstaff, cooks, floor attendants, delivery personnel, shop assistants, and point of sale promoters.
Among these opportunities, the logistics sector is expected to have the most job openings, accounting for 40% of the total offers. Retail and hospitality sectors follow closely, each with 20% of the vacancies, while the contact center and last-mile delivery sectors will each contribute 10% of the job opportunities.
In terms of regions, the Community of Madrid, Catalonia, and Aragon are projected to have the highest number of job offers in the logistics sector. Retail and contact center positions, on the other hand, are in demand throughout Spain. The hospitality sector is expected to have higher needs in Barcelona, Madrid, Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands.
