The weather forecast for Wednesday, 22 November, indicates varying conditions across the Canary Islands.

Today’s weather forecast for the Canary Islands, as provided by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), predicts varied cloud cover. Expect periods of medium and high clouds, with occasional low clouds on the east coast during the morning and towards the end of the day. There’s a low chance of light haze at altitude in the first half of the day.


Temperature-wise, there will be a moderate rise in the higher areas. The expected temperature range is between a maximum of 27 degrees in Tenerife and a minimum of 18 degrees on the island of El Hierro.

The wind will predominantly be moderate from the southeast, with periods of stronger gusts and a low likelihood of very strong gusts on summits. In the afternoon, the wind is expected to shift to a light and variable direction.

For this Wednesday, 22 November, the forecast in Gran Canaria is for lightly cloudy skies with intervals of high clouds.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the sky will be mostly clear with intervals of high clouds and some low clouds in the east in the morning.

Temperatures in these areas are expected to drop slightly to moderately, especially on the north and southwest coasts. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures will range from a maximum of 25ºC to a minimum of 21ºC.

The wind will be moderate from the northeast, with occasional strong gusts in the northwest and southeast during the early morning.
