Rain persists in the Canary Islands on Sunday: here’s the forecast

Minimum temperatures in the Canary Islands will dip slightly, while maximum temperatures will remain relatively stable.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for Sunday, 3 December, indicate a mix of weather conditions in the Canary Islands. The northeast will experience cloudy intervals with predominantly lightly cloudy or clear skies, while the west and east will see abundant cloudiness that may evolve into occasional light showers, particularly in the first half of the day.


Minimum temperatures will be slightly lower, while maximum temperatures will remain mostly unchanged. Thermometer readings will range from a high of 23 degrees Celsius in Tenerife and La Gomera to a low of 16 degrees on El Hierro.

The prevailing wind will be light from the east, with generally light westward winds on central peaks.

Weather on Sunday in Gran Canaria

In Gran Canaria, the weather forecast for Sunday indicates cloudy intervals, with northern regions becoming partly cloudy or clear by midday. The southwest will experience abundant cloud development during the afternoon.

For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy intervals are expected in general.

Minimum temperatures will be slightly lower, and maximum temperatures will see only minor fluctuations. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the maximum temperature will range between 23ºC and 19ºC.

Regarding the wind, it will blow lightly from the east, with moderate intervals in the northwest and southeast. On summits, there will be light to moderate northward winds.
