Today’s weather forecast suggests periods of high cloud cover accompanied by calima, which may become more pronounced on the southern and eastern slopes, especially from midday onwards.
Temperatures will largely remain consistent, except for decreases on the summits of Tenerife. The range will span from a high of 25 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to lows of 17 degrees in San Sebastián de La Gomera and Valverde.
A light easterly wind will prevail along the coasts, while moderate southeasterly winds are expected in the higher elevations and midlands, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, minimum temperatures will see a decrease, whereas maximum temperatures are expected to rise. In Gran Canaria, temperatures will remain relatively stable, with the exception of decreases at the island’s peaks.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will experience light to moderate easterly winds, with intervals of stronger southeast winds on the western slopes. In other areas, light easterly winds will blow along the coasts, while moderate southeasterly winds will affect the summits and midlands of Gran Canaria.
