Traditional Santa Cruz de Tenerife Christmas Concert: tickets available now

This year's Santa Cruz de Tenerife Christmas Concert will pay tribute to Elfidio Alonso and John Williams.

This year’s XXIX edition of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Christmas Concert, themed “Tribute,” is set to be held at the Dársena de Los Llanos in the Tenerife port on the evening of December 25th at 19:30. Recognized as one of the Canary Islands’ most esteemed Christmas events, it promises to be a memorable occasion.

The concert will feature two special tributes. The first is to Elfidio Alonso, the director-founder of Los Sabandeños, celebrating the group’s iconic songs such as “Llamarme Guanche,” “El pescador de morenas,” “Unicornio,” and “Alma Llanera.” The second tribute will honor John Williams, the renowned American composer known for his cinematic soundtracks. The Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, conducted by Víctor Pablo Pérez, will perform Williams’ classics, including themes from “Jaws,” “Star Wars,” “Indiana Jones,” and “Schindler’s List.”
