Today, Wednesday, the CajaCanarias Foundation is set to conclude the debut season of its Jazz Café. This unique initiative, mirroring the ambiance of traditional mid-20th century jazz clubs, offers live, acoustic jazz sessions. The finale will be headlined by the Anne Peters-Evergreen band.
The sold-out event kicks off at 19:00 at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where attendees can enjoy a complimentary coffee and tea service. The musical performance is scheduled to begin at 20:00.
Anne Peters, a Trinidadian singer who relocated to London at a young age, forms the heart of Anne Peters-Evergreen. In London, she immersed herself in gospel and jazz, honing her skills in art, music, and dance at the Pineapple Studio in Covent Garden. Her illustrious career has taken her across the globe, performing in various cities and countries, collaborating with internationally renowned artists like Billy Ocean, Boney M, The Jodells, and Cry Cisco.
Now a resident of the Canary Islands, Anne has rekindled her passion for jazz with her project Evergreen, focusing on classic swing-jazz melodies. This special performance features an international selection of Christmas songs.
Anne Peters is renowned for her engaging stage presence and her ability to connect deeply with audiences. Evergreen brings together talented Canarian musicians, each with a rich background and proven expertise in their musical journeys.
