Temperatures set to increase this Wednesday in the Canary Islands

The Aemet forecast predicts increase of temperatures and clear skies in the Canary Islands.

Today’s weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for the Canary Islands suggests a day mostly dominated by partly cloudy skies, with the possibility of high cloud cover increasing as the evening approaches. Temperature-wise, there’s an expectation for the maximum readings to stay stable or experience a slight increase, particularly in the inland regions.


Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures are anticipated to see a marginal rise in the inland areas of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, while remaining constant in other locales.

As for the winds, they’re predicted to be light and variable in direction, with coastal areas likely experiencing breezes. During the middle of the day, the winds are expected to shift towards a moderate easterly direction. In the higher elevations, particularly the summits, winds will generally be moderate and originate from the southeast starting from noon.
