Today’s weather forecast for tonight, the Epiphany night in the Canary Islands, indicates that on the northern slopes, there will be intermittent rain and cloud cover with occasional breaks of clear skies expected in the central part of the day. For the remainder of the day, expect partly cloudy conditions with the development of evolving clouds in the afternoon. There’s a possibility of occasional light and scattered rainfall, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Temperature-wise, there won’t be significant fluctuations, and the thermometers will range from a maximum of 24 degrees in Tenerife to a minimum of 15 degrees in the island of El Hierro. The wind is expected to be generally light and variable in direction, with coastal areas experiencing prevailing breezes.
Looking ahead to Friday, 5th January, the forecast for the north of Gran Canaria suggests cloudy intervals during the first half of the day and towards the evening, with a low chance of light rain.

In other areas, the skies will primarily be partly cloudy, transitioning to evolving clouds in the interior during the afternoon, resulting in light and occasional rainfall overall. There’s a possibility of locally moderate showers.
For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, expect cloudy intervals, with the chance of some light and occasional rainfall in the second half of the day, particularly in inland areas of the south, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Temperature-wise, there won’t be significant changes, with a slight decrease in maximum temperatures and a slight increase in minimum temperatures. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, maximum temperatures will range from 24ºC, with a minimum of 17ºC.
The wind will be light, initially from the north and gradually shifting to the north-east along the coasts throughout the day. Inland and at higher elevations, the wind will be light and variable in direction.
