On this Saturday, the mountainous islands of the Canary Islands are expected to have overcast skies on their northern slopes. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) anticipates the possibility of light showers in general, with temperatures remaining relatively stable. The prevailing wind will be moderate from the northeast, occasionally intensifying in the southeast and northwest.


Regarding sea conditions, the wind will blow predominantly from the northeast at Force 4 or 5, occasionally reaching Force 6 in specific areas along the Canary coast. Sea conditions will vary, with the north coasts experiencing swell or strong swell, gradually decreasing to light swell in the south. The swell will come from the northwest, with wave heights ranging from 1 to 3 meters.

LANZAROTE: Expect a predominance of cloudy intervals, which will become denser during the first half of the day in the north. Temperatures will remain relatively unchanged, and a moderate northeasterly wind is forecasted. Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Arrecife 19 22.

FUERTEVENTURA: Anticipate predominantly cloudy intervals, especially during the central hours of the day. Temperatures will experience little change, and a moderate north-easterly wind is expected. Forecasted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Puerto del Rosario 19 22.

GRAN CANARIA: In the north, expect cloudy skies with a chance of isolated, weak showers, gradually clearing along the coasts from midday onwards. Elsewhere, partly cloudy or clear skies with cloudy intervals in the southwest during the afternoon. Temperatures will show minimal fluctuations, and a moderate north-easterly wind will prevail, with intermittent stronger gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes. Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 18 22.

TENERIFE: In the north and northeast, anticipate cloudy skies with occasional, generally weak showers. In other areas, there will be cloudy intervals that tend to become overcast on the southern and southwestern slopes from midday onwards, with the possibility of isolated showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will experience slight changes or slight decreases. A moderate north-easterly wind is forecasted, with intermittent stronger gusts on the southeastern and extreme northwestern slopes. On high peaks, expect light winds of variable direction. Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Santa Cruz de Tenerife 18 23.

LA GOMERA: Expect cloudy intervals, with denser clouds in the north, where occasional light showers are possible. Temperatures will remain relatively stable, and a moderate north-easterly wind is expected, with intermittent stronger gusts on summits and southeastern and northwestern slopes. Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): San Sebastián de La Gomera 17 21.

LA PALMA: In the north and east, anticipate cloudy skies with the possibility of occasional, generally weak showers. Cloudy intervals are expected in the rest of the island. Temperatures will show minimal changes, and a moderate north-easterly wind is forecasted, with intermittent stronger gusts on summits and southeastern and northwestern slopes. Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Santa Cruz de La Palma 16 23.

EL HIERRO: In the north, expect cloudy skies with a low probability of weak and occasional showers. Cloudy intervals are anticipated in the rest of the island. Temperatures will experience minimal changes, and a moderate north-easterly wind is forecasted, with intermittent stronger gusts on summits and southeastern and western extremes.
