Less than a month before the eagerly awaited Los Indianos celebration, Santa Cruz de La Palma extends a warm welcome to its visitors and tourists. The heart of this unique Spanish carnival festival can be witnessed through a magnificent panoramic image displayed at the ‘kilometre zero’ of the island.


This striking display surrounds the corporeal letters of Santa Cruz de La Palma, showcasing a photograph of immense proportions captured by the renowned photojournalist Carlos Aciego. The image features the beloved character of La Negra Tomasa, joyfully dancing in the vibrant Plaza de España.
