What to expect at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Day carnival

Over 30 artists are set to participate in this Sunday's event of Santa Cruz de Tenerife carnival

This Sunday, 11 February, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Daytime Carnival will come alive with the participation of over 30 artists, as announced in a press release by the local government.


The day’s festivities will commence at midday in Plaza de la Candelaria, kicking off with a set by DJ Richard from 12:00 to 13:00. A special tribute marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic song ‘Santa Cruz en Carnaval’ will take place from 13:00 to 15:00. Following this, the Columbia Orchestra is slated to perform at 15:00.

The musical lineup continues with the Maracaibo Orchestra at 16:30, Moise González taking the stage at 18:00, and Luis Deseda entertaining the crowd from 20:00 to 22:00. The evening will conclude with a performance by the Tropin Orchestra at 22:00.

What to expect at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Day carnival

Throughout the carnival, from 1 to 14 February, there will also be special promotional days for Peugeot Professional, offering special deals across the entire range of Peugeot vehicles.

At the Plaza del Príncipe, the festivities begin with Ni Fú Ni Fá at 11:00, followed by Los Fregolinos at 12:00, Buenavista Social Club at 13:30, Orquesta Dinacord at 15:30, Orquesta Guaracha from 17:00 to 18:30, Orquesta El Bembé at 18:30, and Orquesta Guayaba closing at 20:00.

Moreover, the Francisco La Roche stage will host a variety of artists from 14:00 to 20:00. Ray Castellano will start the evening segment at 20:00, with DJ Quique Serra rounding off the night until 23:00.
