Here are the new flight routes from La Palma: to Italy, Sweden, Belgium, and Germany

Starting from 26 June, with the introduction of a second weekly frequency between the airports, the flight timetable will be adjusted to enhance connectivity between La Palma and various European destinations.

The Tourism Department of the Island Council of La Palma has partnered with Vueling Airlines to enhance the island’s connectivity with both national and international locations, resulting in a revised flight schedule for the La Palma-Barcelona connection.

Starting from 26th June, with the introduction of the second weekly frequency, there will be adjustments in the flight schedule to ensure better connectivity between La Palma and European destinations accessed via Barcelona.

Sergio Rodríguez, the President of the Island Council of La Palma, emphasized that the schedule change aims to bolster air links with Europe through Barcelona and provide La Palma residents with more convenient access to a broader array of European flights.

The Tourism Department will continue collaborating with Vueling to further improve the flight schedule, increase air connectivity, and develop the Barcelona route as a key growth vector.

Raquel Rebollo outlined that while timetable adjustments may appear minor, they significantly enhance La Palma’s connectivity with numerous national and international destinations via Barcelona, facilitating easier transfers and avoiding overnight airport stays.

The new schedule will strengthen the direct connection, aiding both domestic and European transit. Passengers will now be able to seamlessly connect from La Palma to major European cities such as Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Rome, Milan, Paris, and London, among others.

Furthermore, the improved flight times will allow La Palma residents to travel to Barcelona on Wednesdays and directly connect with at least 24 European cities without overnight stays, enhancing travel options for residents and contributing to inbound tourism.

The updated timetable also aligns with additional routes from Barcelona to La Palma or vice versa, offering connections to various European cities such as Bari, Florence, Palermo, Copenhagen, Oslo, Dublin, Prague, and Malta, with a return option to La Palma available on Saturdays.
