The official opening of the new Zona de Charcos de Valleseco in Santa Cruz de Tenerife was scheduled for Sunday, 10 March, at 11:00 am. This addition enhances the recently renovated Acapulco-El Bloque beach area, representing a significant investment exceeding 13.6 million euros, funded by the Ports of Tenerife, the Canary Islands Government, the Island Council, and the Town Hall.

This major renovation will offer the capital a novel and unique seaside experience, spanning over 13,500 square metres, plus a 350-metre stretch of coastline, all accessible via pedestrian pathways from Avenida de Anaga.

Starting Sunday, a new swimming zone in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be open for all public

Designed like a natural rock pool complex, this area will feature landscaped sections, accessible showers and toilets, ground-level water fountains, and extensive spaces dedicated to sports and recreational activities.
