Aemet forecasts increased rainfall in the Canary Islands on Monday

According to Aemet, the Canary Islands will experience temperatures ranging from a minimum of 17ºC to a maximum of 23ºC.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) anticipates the possibility of rainfall in the Canary Islands this coming Monday, especially on the more mountainous islands. The forecast suggests the formation of convective clouds in the southern interior regions of these islands.


Furthermore, the eastern islands are expected to experience partly cloudy skies with the presence of high-level clouds starting from the early morning.

Regarding temperatures, they are predicted to remain relatively stable, with a minor decrease expected. According to Aemet’s predictions, temperature readings across the islands will vary from a low of 17ºC to a high of 23ºC.

In terms of wind conditions, a gentle breeze from the northeast is expected. However, stronger winds may be felt in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and the far southeast and northwest regions of Gran Canaria, with coastal areas experiencing a predominance of sea breezes.
