The Canary Islands’ weather forecast anticipates periods of cloudiness, particularly on the northern slopes, with skies clearing in the afternoon, while the remainder of the regions will experience light cloudiness interspersed with high clouds. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) does not exclude the possibility of weak and sporadic showers towards the evening on the northern slopes of the islands.
Temperature levels are expected to stay consistent or experience a slight drop, with the highs reaching up to 23 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Sebastián de La Gomera, and the lows dropping to around 12 degrees in Valverde. Winds are forecasted to be moderate from the northeast, with strong periods and potential for very strong gusts, particularly on the southeastern and northwestern slopes.

In the northern part of Gran Canaria, below elevations of 900 to 1,000 metres, the day will start with cloudy conditions that are expected to clear up by the afternoon. There’s a small chance of light rainfall towards the late afternoon. Conversely, the other areas will witness scant clouds along with high cloud cover. High altitudes may experience a slight presence of calima.
Regarding Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the north and west regions of these islands will face cloudy intervals, which will give way to clearer skies in the afternoon, while the rest of the areas will remain mostly cloud-free, aside from the presence of high clouds. Calima is also expected at higher elevations.

Temperature variations will be minimal on the northern slopes, but a minor decline is anticipated towards the southern parts. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the temperature is expected to vary between a maximum of 22ºC and a minimum of 18ºC.
Wind conditions will include moderate northeast winds, with strong bursts and a possibility of very strong local gusts, particularly on the southeast and west slopes. Coastal areas on the southeast can expect breeze conditions, while winds at the summits will be variable and mild.
