In total, the Canary Islands will keep the 60 'Blue Flags' they had last year out of 729 awarded across Spain.

The Blue Flag list has once again recognised 60 beaches in the Canary Islands, maintaining the same number as in the previous edition in 2023. This classification highlights aspects such as cleanliness, accessibility, and the available services on these beaches.


Blue Flags in the Canary Islands for 2024

This summer, the Canary Islands will retain the 60 ‘Blue Flags’ they had last year, contributing to Spain’s total of 729 Blue Flags (638 beaches, 102 marinas, and 7 tourist vessels). This is 18 more than in 2023, with the Valencian Community leading the country in the number of beaches with a Blue Flag.

Tenerife

  • Adeje: El Duque (South), Fañabé, and Torviscas.
  • Arona: El Camisón, Las Vistas, and Los Cristianos.
  • Garachico: El Muelle and El Caletón Natural Pools.
  • Guía de Isora: La Jaquita Beach and San Juan Beach.
  • Icod de Los Vinos: San Marcos.
  • Los Realejos: El Socorro.
  • San Cristóbal de La Laguna: Natural Swimming Pools of Bajamar, Natural Swimming Pool of Arenisco, and the Natural Swimming Pool of Jóver.
  • Tacoronte: La Arena (Mesa del Mar).

La Palma

  • Breña Alta: Bajamar.
  • Breña Baja: Los Cancajos.
