Cloudy skies will predominate this Wednesday in the north of the Canary Islands, where weak, occasional, and scattered showers may be recorded, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). At sea, expect northeast winds of force 4 or 5, increasing to 5 or 6 offshore in the northwest and southeast.
The weather forecast for Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The weather forecast indicates that cloudy skies will prevail in the north of the islands with probable light and occasional showers. There will be cloudy intervals in other areas.
Temperatures are expected to fall, especially in the midlands and high areas. Thermometers will range from a maximum of 23 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Sebastián de La Gomera to a minimum of 13 degrees in Valverde.
Moderate trade winds will blow, with intervals of strong gusts and a low probability of occasional very strong gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes, especially during the first half of the day. Breezes are expected on the southwest coasts.
Las Palmas
In the eastern province, the forecast indicates cloudy skies in the north and northeast of Gran Canaria, with the probability of weak and occasional showers and some clearings in the afternoon. Other areas will see cloudy intervals, with a predominance of lightly cloudy skies on the south and southwest coasts.
For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy skies will decrease to cloudy intervals during the afternoon, as reported by AEMET.
Minimum temperatures will remain unchanged or slightly lower, while maximum temperatures will be moderately lower in the interior, south, and west, and slightly lower in the north and east. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the maximum temperature will be around 21ºC, with a minimum of 18ºC.
