The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that today, cloudy skies with probable weak and occasional showers will predominate in the north of the islands, as well as in the southwest of Tenerife and the east of La Palma.

In other areas, there will be cloudy intervals with a chance of weak and isolated rainfall, according to Aemet.
Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged or slightly lower, especially the minimum temperatures. Thermometers will range from a maximum of 23 degrees Celsius to a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius.
The trade winds will blow moderately, with occasional strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands. Breezes are also expected along the southwest coasts.
Las Palmas
For Thursday, 16th May, the forecast for Las Palmas indicates predominantly cloudy skies with probable weak and occasional showers in the north and northeast of Gran Canaria. The rest of the areas will experience cloudy intervals, with a slight chance of weak and isolated precipitation in the afternoon.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will have cloudy intervals overall, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north during the morning.
Temperatures in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will show little change, with a slight drop in the minimum temperatures in the south and on the north coast. The maximum temperature will be around 21ºC, and the minimum will be about 17ºC.
Wind Conditions
Moderate trade winds are expected, with strong intervals and a low probability of locally very strong gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes during the central hours of the day. Breezes are anticipated along the southwest coast.
