The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that today the maximum temperatures will rise in the Canary Islands and on the Atlantic side of the peninsula, while they will fall on the Mediterranean coast of the peninsula and on the Cantabrian coast.
Specifically, thermometers will range between a maximum of 25 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and a minimum of 18 degrees in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The state body indicates that there will be cloudy intervals in general, with a predominance of cloudy skies in the north during the early and late hours.
The weather forecast also includes weak, scattered, and occasional showers, more likely in the midlands during the early hours of the morning, and generally cloudy in the rest of the areas.

The trade wind will blow occasionally strong on the southeast and northwest slopes, decreasing at the end of the day, while breezes will predominate on the southwest coasts of the mountainous islands.
As for the state of the sea, north and northeast winds of force 4 or 5 and 5 or 6 are expected, along with swell and strong swell. Variable wind of force 1 to 3 is predicted on the south and southwest coasts with breezes, rough or swell conditions. North swell is expected with 1-metre-high waves and south swell with 1 to 2-metre-high waves.
