Weather agency announces a drop in temperatures in the Canaries

According to the weather forecasts, the thermometers in the Canary Islands will range from a maximum of 21 degrees in Tenerife to a minimum of 14 degrees on the island of El Hierro.

The weather forecast for this Monday, 3 June, indicates that there will be cloudy intervals, except in the high peaks, where clear skies are expected, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).


Temperatures will remain unchanged on the coasts and will drop slightly in inland areas, with thermometers ranging from a maximum of 21 degrees in Tenerife to a minimum of 14 degrees on the island of El Hierro.

The wind will blow moderately from the north, with occasional strong winds on the south side of Anaga, as well as in the Teno massif. On central summits, the wind will be light from the west. Breezes are expected on the north, south, and west coasts.

Weather conditions in Las Palmas

The weather forecast for this Monday, 3 June, indicates that in Gran Canaria there will be cloudy intervals in the north and it will be partly cloudy or clear in the rest of the island, except for some cloudy intervals in the early and late hours on the southern slopes.

As for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, it will be cloudy in the north and west, with some clearing at midday; and in the rest of the islands, it will be partly cloudy or clear in general, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Temperatures will be little changed on the coasts and slightly lower in inland areas, especially in the case of maximum temperatures. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the maximum temperature will be between 23ºC and a minimum of 19ºC.

The wind will blow moderately from the north, occasionally stronger on the eastern, north-eastern, and western slopes. It will diminish on summits, with breezes on the south coast.
