On Sunday, the northern regions of the Canary Islands are expected to experience cloudy skies with a likelihood of light, occasional showers during the morning hours. The forecast indicates that there will be cloudy intervals, but the skies may clear up during the central hours of the day, leaving the rest of the region mostly clear or partly cloudy.

Temperature Forecast

Temperatures are predicted to remain stable, with highs reaching up to 26 degrees Celsius in Tenerife and lows dropping to around 14 degrees Celsius on the island of El Hierro.

Wind and Sea Conditions

  • Wind: Moderate north-easterly winds will prevail, with stronger gusts anticipated along the south-eastern slopes and in the extreme north-western areas. Central peaks may experience light westerly winds, while breezes will be present on the west coast.
  • Sea: At sea, conditions will vary:
  • In the northwest and southeast, winds from the northeast will range between 4 to 6, decreasing to 3 or 4 in the northeast.
  • Swell or heavy swell conditions are expected, with light swell in the northeast.
  • The southwest coast will see variable winds between 1 to 4, accompanied by breezes and swell.
  • A north-westerly swell of one metre is expected to increase to between 1 and 2 metres.
