La Laguna will host a showcase of Tacoronte-Acentejo's finest wines at the SanBetinto event this Thursday, featuring fifteen local wineries and special tapas in the city's historic centre.

This Thursday, June 27th, the historical centre of La Laguna will transform into a vibrant hub for wine lovers as it hosts the new edition of SanBetinto, part of the Tacoronte-Acentejo Summer Extra programme. Fifteen distinguished wineries from the Tenerife denomination of origin will be showcasing their best wines from 18:00 to 23:00 around the La Concepción tower area.


Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, the mayor of La Laguna, commended the event for its significant contribution to the local culture and economy, noting that it not only offers leisure and revitalization but also highlights the extensive labor involved in vine cultivation and winemaking.

The participating wineries include well-known names such as Presas Ocampo, Marba, Viña El Drago, and others, representing the rich viticultural heritage of the region.

The wine offerings will be complemented by an assortment of tapas, crafted specifically for the event by local culinary establishments like Baggerman El Holandés and Cooperativa La Candelaria, enhancing the enogastronomic experience.

Mayor Gutiérrez has extended an invitation to all residents of La Laguna and the wider Tenerife community to partake in this oenological celebration. He also expressed his gratitude towards the Designation of Origin Tacoronte Acentejo, the participating wineries, and all the involved food vendors for their collaboration in making this wine tasting evening possible.
