MYND Adeje, a hotel located in the southern part of Tenerife, has been distinguished with the prestigious ‘Best Hotel Management’ award during the TH500 Gala, organized by TecnoHotel to celebrate its 500th edition. The event took place in the Aurora Hall in Madrid, where MYND Adeje stood out as the only Canarian establishment to receive an award, highlighting its excellence since its inception.
The award was presented by Ildefonso Moyano, VP of Customer Success at Mews, to Francisco Fernández, CEO and founding partner of Canarian Hospitality, the management company behind MYND Adeje. In his acceptance speech, Fernández expressed his appreciation to TecnoHotel and its sponsors for the recognition, and dedicated the award to the over 500 employees at Canarian Hospitality, with a special mention of the 80 staff members at MYND Adeje who are pivotal to the hotel’s success.

Fernández reflected on the rapid progress of the hotel, noting that when the company was founded and MYND Hotels was conceptualized three years ago, they could not have envisioned achieving such a distinguished level of recognition in such a brief period. He highlighted the brand’s prototype hotel for its exceptional quality, results, and working environment.
The TH500 Gala awarded a total of eight prizes across various categories, recognizing excellence in digital strategy, sustainable strategy, talent management, and more. The gala was a significant networking event, attended by approximately 150 hoteliers from regions including the Canary Islands, Madrid, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, La Rioja, Navarre, Valencia, Andalusia, the Basque Country, and Galicia.

Canarian Hospitality has seen rapid expansion since the opening of MYND Adeje at the end of 2021. Following this, MYND Yaiza and LACASA Apartments Cotillo were launched, with plans for the latter to undergo a complete transformation and be rebranded as MYND Cotillo this year.
MYND Hotels are designed to meet the needs and lifestyles of modern travelers, offering comfortable, welcoming, and contemporary accommodations in a 4-star setting, with room capacities ranging from 150 to 300. The philosophy of MYND Hotels is built on eight pillars: Sustainable Tourism, People Centric, Everyone is Welcome, Flexibility, Environmental Protection, Digitalisation, Care of the Body and Mind, and Enjoyment of Local Flavour, all aimed at providing a minimal environmental impact and a personalized guest experience based on local culture and produce.

With the addition of the aforementioned MYND hotels, Canarian Hospitality now operates eight establishments across the Canary Islands, with plans to expand by four more (two in Gran Canaria, one in Lanzarote, and one in Fuerteventura) between this year and 2026. The expansion includes the new Sholeo Lodges brand and a franchise through the Radisson Blue brand, further diversifying its hospitality offerings.
